The Competition Commission is seeking talented, high-achieving graduates to join its 2026 Cadet Training Programme. This exciting two-year initiative provides hands-on experience in Human Capital Management while contributing to the Commission’s Vision 2030: building a competitive, dynamic, and inclusive economy that serves all South Africans

Responsibilities

  • Human Capital Planning: Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and talent pipeline development
  • Organisational Development: Assisting with job profiling, organisational design, and culture-building initiatives
  • Employee Relations: Supporting processes that promote a fair and legally compliant work environment
  • Training & Development: Coordinating employee learning interventions and tracking outcomes
  • Performance Management: Assisting with performance review cycles and maintaining performance data
  • HR Administration: Compiling HR reports, maintaining employee records, and supporting compliance activities
  • Research & Policy Development: Conducting research and contributing to HR policy development that aligns with labour legislation

Qualifications

  • Completed Honours degree in:
  • Human Resource Management
  • Human Capital Management
  • Human Capital / Organisational Development
